What kind of equipment do you use?

Lone Star Carpet Cleaning and Repairs' fleet is equipped with the latest in state-of-the-art carpet cleaning equipment.  From to top-of-the-line truck-mounted machines to high-end portables, we have the perfect equipment for your specific job.  


Will my stains come out with the hot water extraction process?

Hot water extraction (or steam cleaning) works best for surface soils and allergens. If you have stubborn stains, soiled high-traffic areas, pet stains, or odors, additional treatments and or chemicals may be necessary to achieve your desired result.


Will you move my furniture?

We are happy to move your furniture for a small fee. Furniture handling starts at $25 and up. 


How long will it take for my carpet to dry?

You can can expect your carpet to dry anywhere from one to three hours, depending on the condition of your carpet and the specific services performed. 


Should I vacuum my carpet prior to my carpet cleaning appointment?

Yes; we highly recommend pre-vacuuming the area.  You will also need to clear the area of any debris, toys, or other items prior to your service.


How do I schedule my appointment?

Simply click on the "appointments" link to request your appointment and someone will send you an email confirmation or alternate dates within 24 hours of your request.  On the day of your appointment, the technician will give you a courtesy call approximately 30 to 45 minutes prior to arrival to verify someone is at the residence and to give you a more precise arrival time.  If we are unable to reach you on the third call, your appointment will be canceled and rescheduled for a later date.


Are Saturday, after-hours, and same day appointments available?

Yes! We are happy to accommodate Saturdays, after-hours, and same day appointments when available; convenience charges will apply.


Is gratuity included?

Gratuity is optional and should be based on your technician's performance.  Our carpet cleaning techs work hard to provide you with the best service possible, a tip shows your appreciation for a job well done and are greatly appreciated.


Will the hot water extraction process remove my Scotchgard?

Yes; carpet cleaning will remove Scotchgard and other protectants, but we are happy to reapply.  Charges will apply for Scotchgard application.


What is your cancellation policy?

Lone Star Carpet Cleaning and Repairs adheres to a strict twenty-four hour cancellation policy. We must receive written notification of your cancellation at least twenty-four hours prior to your appointment. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of your appointment and a penalty up to the pruchase price of your service.
